Hadiqa Kiani is a Pakistani singer-songwriter. Kiani is single and resides in Pakistan with her mother, Khawar, who has been paralyzed since 2006 and her son, whom she named Naaday Ali. Kiani adopted her son in 2005 from the Edhi Foundation after the 2005 Earthquake. "I need a child and the child (needs) a mother, we have found each other" she said when adopting the child. On the same day Kiani made an official announcement of the adoption on Geo News political talk show, Capital Talk.〔http://www.newslinemagazine.com/2005/12/interview-hadiqa-kiyani/〕 Later that year, Kiani got married to a UK based Afghani Businessman, Syed Fareed Sarwary. Their Nikah was a private event and attended by very close family members.
